Smaller Staggered GROUPS
  • Working to government guidance our maximum private or mixed group ratio will be 1:8. Group Lessons
Equipment Rotation
  • With over 200 wetsuits and 100 surfboards we can guarantee our equipment will not be used more than once per day. Once used it will be thoroughly washed using Eco Marine & Dettol products,  99.9% medically proven to kill all strains of COVID-19. The used equipment will then be stored in a separate part of the surf school to air out and dry before any future use.

Outdoor Changing
  • Government guidelines state that “Indoor facilities, apart from toilets and through-ways should be kept closed, however if you can create an outside space to provide a degree of privacy that’s fine” Official Government COVID-19 Guidelines., 2020. Therefore at both our Gwithian and Praa Sands locations we will be offering our large Gazebo for extra privacy when changing. We ask that all customers arrive in their swimsuits and once you’ve collected your wetsuit from the surf school change by your car where possible, otherwise use our Gazebo. The Gazebo will be fully sanitised after each use.
COVID-19 Signs
  • We will have a selection of official signs located around the Surf School. Including a 1 way system for entering and leaving, sanitiser stations and reminder to adhere to the 2 metre social distancing rule. Be rest assured we are doing as much as possible to ensure our customers and staff feel safe and well informed during your entire Surf School Experience.
