Where We Coach From

Global Boarders Surf Co. Cornwall has a permanent bases at Sunset Surf Cafe, Gwithian Towans and Praa Sands.  Where possible we will hold all our surfing programmes at these locations. If the conditions are unsuitable / unsafe at Gwithian & Praa Sands then to minimise cancellations and ensure our clients enjoy the best possible surfing experience, we have mobile licences / permissions to run sessions at; St Ives Bay, Newquay and Marazion.

We work closely with the RNLI Lifeguard and all of our surf school locations run a lifeguard service from April – October 10am – 6pm.

Gwithian Surf School

Our award winning Gwithian surf school is nestled in the corner of the beautiful St Ives Bay. The picturesque beaches of Gwithian Towans and Godrevy are one of Cornwall’s more quiet and safe surf destinations.

You can find us based at the Sunset Surf Café in Gwithian, where we have excellent facilities for all our surfers, including warm changing rooms and toilets.

Mousehole Coasteering Adventures

Mousehole is one of Cornwall’s top Coasteering routes. Dating back to the 13th century Mousehole was once invaded by the Spanish armada and gives the name ‘The Spaniard’ to one of our highest jump sections on our ‘Adrenaline’ route.

In 1981 RNLI lifeboat the Solomon Brown made national news by tragically sinking whilst attempting to save the crew of a stricken boat off Lands End. The lifeboat station remains today and provides the perfect mixture of history and discovery on our ‘Adventure’ coasteering route in Mousehole.
